Taking STEPS to improve our health

Join us while we walk around the Legislature demonstrating that WE are taking steps to improve our health, and we expect our government to do the same.

Join us in person on Wednesdays from 12-1pm on the sidewalk in front of the BC Legislature, in Victoria BC. We will walk for 45 minutes. Or, join us virtually from your location on Wednesdays by sharing a photo and your step count to our event page.

Put on your runners and let's show this Government how to take IMPACTFUL STEPS!

This event will run from February 1st to March 15th.

We know this Healthcare Crisis is taking a toll on everyone in some way or another. We also know that when people are suffering they can feel frustrated and overwhelmed. Sometimes we can struggle with how to harness the energy that comes from frustration to achieve positive outcomes. Taking steps is part of how we move from a negative space to one with positive outcomes. Taking steps is beneficial for our health, it can energize us, it can empower us, and it can help heal us. Together we can use our energy and our steps to send a clear message to our Government that we are doing our part to take care of our health, now we expect them to do their part.

Whether you can only take 20 steps or 2,000 steps join us! Because every step counts.

My name is Camille Currie, President of BCHCM, and I look forward to taking these steps with you.
