First gathering of BCHCM, medical professionals and residents of BC.

Government and Docs of BC offer a new payment model to physicians
Longitudinal Family Practice (LFP) model introduced. Model gives consideration to many unpaid tasks highlighted by physicians and BCHCM over the previous months.

Members of BCHCM spent an hour every week for 9 weeks walking around the Legislature grounds demonstrating that WE are taking steps to improve our health, and we expect our government to do the same.

Hosted a booth at the Victoria Health and Wellness Fair. Raised awareness and signed up members of the public for Health Connect Registry.

Collaborating to supporting Team Based Care (TBC) for BC.
Begin working with a physician who has a develop a model to quickly and efficiently get medical practices working in teams. Her pilot project supported by Doctors of BC shows amazing results. Most importantly results in more patients being seen and still receiving quality care.

Surrey Memorial Rally
BCHCM Attended and Camille spoke at Dr. Gill’s rally in Surrey BC. Surrey Memorial Hospital struggling to care for patients under inequitable conditions.

Camille attends an in person forum preceded by monthly online meetings to work with medical professionals and patient/advocates from across Canada.
